Residents of The Rollins will have unprecedented access to all that Essex Crossing has to offer including a diverse mix of retail, culture, world-class architecture, green space, shopping, and entertainment all at your front door. Essex Crossing is an unprecedented development in the heart of the Lower East Side. Spread over nine sites, including The Rollins, Essex Crossing will include over 1.9 million square feet including 1,000 new residences, parks, 450,000 square feet of retail spaces, and 400,000 square feet of office space. Essex Crossing’s opening in 2018 will include a new Trader Joe’s, Target, Regal Cinema, and the future home of the International Center for Photography.

A key part of Essex Crossing will be a world-class marketplace called The Market Line. Opening in 2018, The Market Line is an expansive, bazaar-like marketplace running three city blocks along Broome Street in front of The Rollins. The Market Line will bring together an eclectic mix of more than 100 locally-sourced food, art, music and fashion vendors reflecting the character and culture of the LES. When complete, the 150,000-square foot Market Line will be the largest market in New York City, and one of the largest in the world. In keeping with the neighborhood’s rich history, Essex Crossing maintains a diverse mix of large and small retailers, apartment renters, homeowners, and entrepreneurs.
